Jim Lloyd is the real deal! A gifted multi-instrumentalist, natural storyteller and entertainer, Jim brings to the stage a deep understanding of our southern Appalachian people and their music. From rollicking banjo tunes to mounrful mountain ballads, stories of history and tales that will have you laughing out loud, his shows inform, entertain, and inspire. He is among our region’s most affable torchbearers, sharing his knowledge with humor and a sense of revernece for those who have come before him. Jim is one of the most genuinely funny and talented people I know and I’m proud to call him my friend.
